Ever wondered how to make tofu from scratch? Here’s your opportunity to learn!
Join Wren Ponder, founder of THIKA CO, for a tofu-making class at The Plot in Oceanside. Wren will walk you through the tofu-making process, where you'll get to taste the tofu and see how to keep the process low-waste, creative, and fun! You’ll learn principles behind flavoring tofu and creative ways to use the by-products.
This class will be hosted in the beautiful garden space at The Plot, a vegan restaurant in Oceanside dedicated to zero waste. During the class you’ll be able to order food and beverages to enjoy. You'll have the opportunity to purchase your own ceramic tofu mold and kit, and you'll go home with a jar of dry organic soybeans.
